A one-of-a-kind

Palissandro^® marble is of extraordinary beauty. Its highly pure material is speckled with tiny bright crystals which shine like a shower of diamonds. It is a metamorphic rock composed of dolomite minerals, with smaller quantities of calcite, phlogopite, plagioclase, tremolite, titanite and epidote. The composition of the material and the distribution of the various minerals give an unexpected brightness and the veins add an appealing decorative quality to this stone. Palissandro^® marble is a very hard rock, which together with its beauty make it the perfect material for interior design as well as for uses in exterior settings, such as squares, building façade finishes and urban design street furniture.
The Crevoladossola quarry contains a chromatic variety of Palissandro^® marble which is unique in the world. Its veins show a variety of colours, ranging from pure white to beige-brown, and from blues to blacks. There are more than 12 types of Palissandro^® marble, which can be classified into three main categories:
